A
puppeteer and puppet craftsman,
Pat Brymer
has been creating puppets and costumes for major production companies
since 1973. In 1982 he formed his own company,
pat brymer
creations.
After four years at Illinois State University as a theater major and art
minor, Pat was spotted and hired by
Sid & Marty
Krofft Productions
as their lead puppeteer at Six Flags over Mid America. From there he was
chosen as a performer in Las Vegas for
Raquel &
The World of Sid & Marty Krofft
starring Raquel Welch and directed by Joe Layton. After relocated to Los
Angeles, Pat was a lead puppeteer for NBC's
Hanna
Barbera Happy Hour
series and subsequently served four years as a puppet creator for the
live action department of Hanna Barbera Productions.
Pat spent five years as master puppeteer for the Emmy Award winning PBS
series
Lamb
Chop's Play Along
and repeated the same assignment for the PBS series
The
Charlie Horse Music Pizza,
both starring Shari Lewis. In addition to creating updated versions of
Ms. Lewis' famous characters, Pat has also produced puppets for
McDonalds,
Kay Bee Toy Stores, Southwest Airlines, Minit Lube, King World, Nissan,
Primestar
and
Disposercare
where he co-designed the interior of a garbage disposal and its
inhabitants for award winning director Joe Pytka.

has crafted costume characters for clients including
Doug Henning,
Dayton Hudson Department Stores, Osaka Gas, Disney's Epcot Center
and
Paula Abdul.
Mascot characters have been constructed for the
Tampa Bay
Lightning Bolts, New Jersey Devils
and
Los Angeles Zoo.
Pat was the "gopher" in 1980s
Caddyshack
(see pictures above). His other feature film puppeteering credits
include
The Muppet Movie, Short Circuit, My Stepmother is an Alien, Indian Jones
and the Last Crusade, So I Married an Axe Murderer, and Team America,
World Police.
